Laser Hair Removal and Herpes
The laser used in hair removal doesn't usually cause herpes outbreaks.
Not all doctors prescribe a prophylactic oral antiviral medication for those getting the hair removal laser. The treatment doesn't damage or break the skin, so it doesn't usually stimulate a recurrence.
