Denavir

Denavir is used to treat oral herpes, cold sores, on the lips and faces of adults. Denavir is a cream which is applied directly to the sores. Wash and dry the fected area first to help avoid spreading the disease.

Complete studies with pregnant women have not been been accomplished as of yet. So if pregnant, only use if clearly needed. Denvir is excreted in human milk after topical application.

Side Effects

Some of Denavir’s side effects can be headaches, and more irritation of the area infected. Other, not so common reactions have been swelling of the mouth or throat, pain, alterations in sense of smell, abnormal touch sensation, itching, skin discoloration, and hives.
