Experience…
at age 22 I was diagnosed with herpes, I was lost and broken… the thought of never getting married and having a family overwhelmed me. I turned to the bottle to hide my pain and in a short time became a full blown alcoholic, which didn`t help my breakouts. At age 28 I accepted Jesus into my heart and joined a church, there I found celebrate recovery and today I have 394days clean. what used to consume my every thought is now just a small detail in my life. I do get lonely and haven`t yet met anyone that I have felt comfortable sharing this with (men) I haven`t been in a relationship since my diagnosis. I used to think herpes was a death sentence but today I have hope and faith that I will find a partner who can love me for me despite my flaws [47388]
