I contracted herpes simplex 1 on my lips when I was around 7 years old. Not from sexual intercourse of any sorts, just someone kissing me. I didn`t know what it was, and my parents never told me either (although I have had coldsores for about half my life, go figure.). I found out on my own when I heard about coldsores being herpes. So now, for the rest of my life I have to have coldsores ONLY in the winter time. Which is strange to me, and I honestly have no clue why only during that duration I have outbreaks. [47022]
