I am a 14 year old female and I have been getting raised blister-like bumps, I think I can refer to it as on the outside labia, off and on for about 2 months now. I have done some research on herpes and I have the exact symptoms of herpes. I went to the doctor and she told me that it looked exactly like herpes. Problem is that I never have had any type of sex (oral, vaginal, etc.) or I have never been in ANY contact with anyone in my life. Then the doctor had to call in another doctor to check me for a second opinion. She told me that it could be some medical term that she said. I am really scared and I don’t know what it could be do you know what it sounds like? Thank you.
If you have not had contact with anyone in any way, then you could not have gotten genital herpes of either Type 1 or Type 2. Genital Herpes cannot be gotten from the air, it has to be contracted through sexual contact. I would strongly suggest that you get a Herpes Select Test and this should put your mind at ease.
