It took me about 6 months to a year to forgive the man who did not tell me he had HSV-2 and continued to have sex with me. I vowed never to withhold that information from any new partner. It is very difficult to do. It hurts to reveal that information. However I would rather see someone appreciate my honesty then live with lies. I am hopeful that things will work out okay for me.
