Talk About Herpes | Keep a Positive Attitude

I have had herpes on my lip since I was a kid, but I don`t know if I contracted type 1 herpes(below the belt) from inadvertently touching my lip and later touching below the belt(seems unlikely, but u never know). If I contracted the type 1 herpes from being sexually active, I dont know who I got it from because I was single, and had a couple 1 night stands. I wasn`t sleeping around with a lot of guys, but I`ve had about 11 partners in sex from 18 yrs old to 24 yrs old. I only get a break out from both types(upper lip and below the belt) once or twice a year, so it sucks that I have this, but I try to keep a positive attitude because things could be worse. My advice to women and men is to GET CHECKED AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR!!! Even if you have no health insurance, go to the clinic. Getting a clean bill of health is a Great feeling, and if you find that you do have an STD, then you can be pro-active in telling the PEOPLE you plan on sleeping with that you have an STD.
