Experience…
I have only been with two guys: my ex-husband for twelve years (we were both each others "firsts") and my current boyfriend. I was absolutely shocked when I first had my breakout in July… My ex never had symptoms and neither does my current boyfriend. I cried alot, partly beacause my first breakout was extremely painful, but mostly because when I was diagnosed, I couldn`t believe it: I had herpes! When my doctor called, she informed me that in my blood test, I had no HSV antibodies, so I contracted it recently. My boyfriend is very understanding and will get test.. and I remind myself that my life isnt over… I/we have learned to deal and adapt my/our lives to it. but I still haven`t gotten used to it yet.
