Experience…
i thought no one would ever love me again. i contracted the virus when a man raped me. i have only had it for about 3 months now, and i haven`t had any symptoms since the initial occurance. i am now in a relationship and it was the hardest thing ive ever done, telling my boyfriend, because we had dated a year before when i did NOT have the virus. but he accepts me and we are trying to make it work. i take l-lysine daily and plan to get on valtrex daily once i have the money for the prescription! it`s not the end of your life. i still get really bummed out some nights, that someone did this to me and i can never get rid of it. it makes me feel ashamed of myself, but the important thing is to deal with the sad feelings but embracing everything about who you are, because this virus is NOT who you are.
