I feel my doctors let me down. I got tested for stds frequently (yearly) and even asked my doctor to test me for herpes at one point. I had it for about ten years without knowing because when they test you for stds they dont test for herpes! I was kinda wild in my day and pray that I never passed it on unknowingly. The symptoms are so mild I didn`t know I had it. When I figured out was going on I went back to my doctor and told her matter of factly “I have herpes” and she looked at me like she didn`t believe me! The blood test proved it though. [47611]
